Appointments are magically moving?!

Hi all,

ok, this is really weird. Today, I came back from a long weekend. I had
synched my agenda with my Palm and with the server the day I left and all
was fine. I came back this morning, did a sync again (at that point I had
not had a look at KOrganizer yet) and when I looked at the agenda for the
first time, some appointments had magically moved their begin times. The
weird thing is: Some appointments now start two hours earlier than when I
created them, some start one hour earlier and some stayed exactly where
they should be. Another user came to me today with the exact same problem.
I'm completely baffled as to what could be going on here.

If I use the web interface for "free/busy" it seems as if all appointments
are still at the correct time on the server (i.e. all free busy times are
shown where I'd expect them), so it must be something with the client. But
what? My first suspect was some timezone mismatch - but how would that
explain that not all appointments are affected in the same way?

System:
Client: kdepim3-3.3.proko2.0.6-0 on SuSE Linux 10.0
Server: kolab 2.0.3 on SuSE 9.3
