Install kolab on a vserver?

Hi folks,

i want to install kolab on a vserver. Now my problem is that a vserver has
no "localhost" lo interface and because of this the installation runs fine
but there is no chance to use it. The services cannot talk to each other.
Is there any way to install it without grepping out all "localhost" or
"127.0.0.1" entries in the configs?
Has someone installed kolab on a vserver with success?
