You could uninstall the kdepim package, and compiling the proko2 version of kdepim instead.
But I wouldn't see the point in doing that, you can get the same with the kdepim-3.5.2
(except that you might want to recompile it with --enable-new-distrlists if you use client-side distribution lists).
