Yet another install problem - user(s) related?

I've just build kolab on a Centos 4.2 box, with mysql support. I'm following
along http://wiki.kolab.org/index.php/Kolab2_Installation_-_Source
I created a kolab user, and set them to own the /kolab directory hierachy. The
bootstrap (sudo /kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap -b) looked OK after I turned
off sendmail.
Then I did the startup:
[bradh at mailhost kolabtemp]$ sudo /kolab/bin/openpkg rc all start
OpenPKG: start: openpkg, openldap, mysqlchown: `kolab-r': invalid user
:FAILED
openpkg:rc:WARNING: /kolab:mysql:%start: failed with return code 1
openpkg:rc:NOTICE: output from stdout/stderr is following:
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
| su: user kolab-r does not exist
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
OpenPKG: start: sasl, spamassassin, amavisdchown: `kolab-r': invalid user
:FAILED
openpkg:rc:WARNING: /kolab:amavisd:%start: failed with return code 1
openpkg:rc:NOTICE: output from stdout/stderr is following:
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
| su: user kolab-r does not exist
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
OpenPKG: start: apache:FAILED
openpkg:rc:WARNING: /kolab:apache:%start: failed with return code 1
openpkg:rc:NOTICE: output from stdout/stderr is following:
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
| apache: bad user name kolab-n
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
OpenPKG: start: clamavchown: `kolab-r': invalid user
:FAILED
openpkg:rc:WARNING: /kolab:clamav:%start: failed with return code 1
openpkg:rc:NOTICE: output from stdout/stderr is following:
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
| su: user kolab-r does not exist
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
OpenPKG: start: dcron, imapd, postfix, proftpd:FAILED
openpkg:rc:WARNING: /kolab:proftpd:%start: failed with return code 1
openpkg:rc:NOTICE: output from stdout/stderr is following:
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
| - no such user 'kolab-n'
| - Fatal: User: Unknown user 'kolab-n' on line 11 of
'/kolab/etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf'
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
OpenPKG: start: kolabd.
So I created users "kolab-n" and "kolab-r" (with home directories /kolab as
well), but still no joy:
$ sudo /kolab/bin/openpkg rc all start
OpenPKG: start: openpkg, openldap, mysql, sasl, spamassassin, amavisd:FAILED
openpkg:rc:WARNING: /kolab:amavisd:%start: failed with return code 13
openpkg:rc:NOTICE: output from stdout/stderr is following:
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
| Failed to open log file /kolab/var/amavisd/amavisd.log: Permission denied
at /kolab/sbin/amavisd line 1172.
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
OpenPKG: start: apache, clamav:FAILED
openpkg:rc:WARNING: /kolab:clamav:%start: failed with return code 1
openpkg:rc:NOTICE: output from stdout/stderr is following:
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
| ERROR: Can't open /kolab/var/clamav/clamd.log in append mode (check
permissions!).
| ERROR: Problem with internal logger. Please check the permissions on
the /kolab/var/clamav/clamd.log file.
+----------------------------------------------------------------------
OpenPKG: start: dcron, imapd, postfix, proftpd, kolabd.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Brad
