Notes field

Hi,
We have notes in a database, I would like to put with user's contact info in 
LDAP.  Kontact has a big field for "Notes" but does anyone know if this can 
be mapped to LDAP?

Also, is the LDAP writable with 3.4.1?  We are on 3.4 right now, I don't think 
it is writable.
