how to distinguish calendar/contact items in Kontact

Hi,

yesterday, I installed Kontact (from SVN) for the first time to use it with 
our Kolab server. I'm impressed how easy it was to set and and how stable it  
works (as far as I can tell after using it for ~ 24 hours ;-) ). Even the 
interaction with other users using Outlook works without problems.

But: I'm very frustrated by the contacts and calendar view. I've got four 
colleagues who are sharing their calendars with me. I can see all 
appointments just fine but I cannot distinguish the appointments unless I 
switch the shared calendars on or off inside the resource list on the lower 
left. Two things are lacking here:

- color highlighting of the different calendar entries, i.e. one color for 
each calendar (sub-)resource

- ability to view only one (user's) calendar without having to "switch off" 
other calendars

Is this a lack of functionality in the current implementation or am I simply 
too blind to find the correct options?

The same problem basically applies to contacts: I can choose where I want to 
save a new contact but it's impossible to tell where an existing contact 
comes from without switching the resources off on the lower left.

Summing it up, it feels to me as if the (default) contact and calendar views 
are not intuitive enough and they seriously lack functions needed in a real 
life environment.
