Sort of. Some parts of kolab is just an STMP server, an IMAP server,
and a regular ftp/http to store your freebusy file.

So, you can send and read emails, see others calendar, and your own.
But your calender and contacts are not stored on the server.

ps: it might be possible to run KDE, and thus the real client using
the X11 for OSX.
