first note that Martin has created an issue for this problem in our tracker.

Are you registered there?
We could work out some more details there to not bother all the people
on the list.
(While I am giving hints: Did you consider shorten the quotes in your emails a bit?
I found it harder to see the real content and give a reply fast. )

As written above currently KDE_3_3_BRANCH with proko2_branch from CVS
is much more quality controlled and thus recommended
unless you want to help with testing.

to do further checks.
There is a good chance that this is a configuration problem in HEAD.
in Kcontrol -> KDE Components -> KDE Resources -> Calendar
and the resources additionally saved by KMail.
