FC2 - Cannot connect to LDAP

Hi,

I tried from KMail and Outlook to access the LDAP Directory, but failed
- i never see any entry - and i created some external users in the web
adressbook !.
So i tried the same from the shell - locally and remote - and found out
that locally ldapsearch on the server works - i get all the users back.

When i try the same command from the remote host then i get nothing
back !!! - why ???
What is wrong with my installation - any hints ??
