User class 'manager' is denied access

Hello
I am getting this error trying to log in to the web gui. The steps i took to 
get this error:

Run kolab2 beta4 on SuSE 9.2
Upgrade to beta 5 with sh ./obmtool kolab
mv /kolab/etc/openldap/slapd.conf.rpmsave /kolab/etc/openldap/slapd.conf
/kolab/bin/openpkg rc all restart
/kolab/bin/openpkg rc openldap stop
/kolab/sbin/slapindex
/kolab/sbin/slapindex
/kolab/sbin/slapindex (3 times "just to be sure" TM)
/kolab/bin/openpkg rc openldap start

Log in as manager to web gui - get above error

/kolab/bin/openpkg rc all stop
/kolab/sbin/slapindex
/kolab/sbin/slapindex
/kolab/bin/openpkg rc all start

Log in as manager to web gui - same error again

Any ideas what is happening? How can i allow manager to log in?
