It first depends on which Kolab client you want to migrate to.
For the windows Kolab2 client Outlook/Toltec doing the appointment
locally is a feasable idea as most uses will touch this anyway.
I have not seen any script to do this automatically.
Some one has to step in to fund or develop it.
