OK, this means that your LDAP is working at last.

Now we have to check if Cyrus can authenticate
Can you do the following:
1) telnet to host.domain.lan port 110 (pop3)
2) enter "user <user>", enter, and "pass <password>", enter
3) the server should respond with +OK for both commmands, and should
tell you how many messages you have.
