Kolab 1.x -> 2.x

Is there a plan in the works so that if I install a Kolab 1.x system on
Debian today, I will be able to upgrade it to Kolab2 when that becomes
available/stable?  I.e., will OpenPKG upgrade smoothly along with Kolab
itself as well?
