Allright, then i'd suggest that you take a look at mozilla calendar and 
mozilla mail.

the calendar can import calendar items from kolab, but not tasks, i 
think it's a minor detail though.
Then the calendar needs to look for individual files for each 
appointment, task, ... and do such on
in an imap folder. I think it is just an extension that is needed, and 
the mail client already works, and
it is one sweet klient.
