Horde doesn't have support for "distribution lists" as such, but it does have 
the concept of a "group" which is very similar to what you're describing.

I do think the lists would be a good thing to have a format spec for, 
considering all clients have support for them to some degree - Joon's 
description seems to fit the bill quite nicely.

Related to this - does Kontact or Outlook have any support for the global 
distribution lists that are stored in LDAP?
