Yes,I got that then I put the value by using 
$ echo `date -u -d 20100108 +%s` /24/60/60 |bc 
15974
but its not working.
Do I have to make any changes in ldap section in kolab.conf and in any other place?
I must have to expire my clients email accounts and provide them warning but as this two things are not working I am inable to implement kolab .
Please suggest.

I agree, shadowExpire accepts only epoch in full days (i.e. time()/86400
is "now"), and shadowwarning is a number of days prior to that, etc.
