Hi Jeroen, 

thanks for replying, about this point: 

I'm curious whether this could be solved by making php-kolab depend on 
php-kolabformat (and/or vice-versa), since while the extensions loaded 
in /etc/php.d/kolab.ini depend on the one loaded in 
/etc/php.d/kolabformat.ini...

If you include/require a php extension or library twice this is
certainly the cause of the duplicate function name issues.

With regard to the roundcube update issues, would it be an option to run
these commands in the rpm update:
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Upgrade [1] [4]

These will update the dbschema, and that would probably spare us a lot
of errors/warnings during installation.
