[Kolab-devel] Web (Roundcube) interface inconsistencies and comments.

There are a couple of interface inconsistencies that I believe should
be corrected to provide a more consistent interface across all of the
web interface. I know these are very trivial issues and may require
coordination with the Roundcube team itself. It would be nice if the
entire web interface was consistent from page to page. This would also
make it easier to use for new users learning the interface. When doing
a repetitive task on each page, say making a folder called "Business"
it's nice to follow a rhythm from one to the next. In testing, I find
myself frequently clicking the wrong button first. There may be other
things that I haven't noticed but the below list kind of jumps out at
me. The below list was made based off a clean install of Kolab on
CentOS 6.4 using the meta-packages from just 2 days ago.

1) Mail
1.1 - When you click on the Mail menu the 1st folder (Inbox) is
automatically highlighted. **1
1.2 - No box title exists.
1.3 - The + icon does not exist.
1.4 - The sprocket mouseover for Mail is "Folder actions..."
1.5 - To create a new Mail folder you must click on the Sprocket icon
then click "Manage folders" then you are redirected to the Settings =>
Folders section. From there you click on the + icon and then the
right-pane window updates with a form for the new Mail folder. **2
1.6 - If you right-click on a mail folder a context menu appears.

2) Address Book
2.1 - When you click on the Address Book menu the 1st Address Book is
automatically highlighted. **1
2.2 - The Box Title for the Address Book is "Groups" **3
2.3 - The + icon mouseover for Address Book is "Create new contact
group"
2.4 - The sprocket mouseover for Address Book is "More actions..."
2.5 - To create a new Address Book folder you must click on the
Sprocket icon then click "Create address book" then the right-pane
window updates with a form for the new Address Book.
2.6 - If you right-click on a Address Book a context menu appears.

3) Calendar
3.1 - When you click on the Calendar menu no calendar is automatically
highlighted. **1
3.2 - The Box Title for the Calendar is "Calendars"
3.3 - The + icon mouseover for the Calendar is "Create new calendar"
3.4 - The sprocket mouseover for Calendar is
"[calendar.calendaractions]"
3.5 - To create a new Calendar folder you must click on the + icon then
a pop-up window displays the with a form for the new Calendar.
3.6 - If you right-click on a Calendar no context menu appears.

4) Tasks
4.1 - When you click on the Tasks menu the 1st Tasklist is
automatically highlighted. **1
4.2 - The Box Title for the Tasks is "Tasklists"
4.3 - The + icon mouseover for the Tasks is "Add list"
4.4 - The sprocket mouseover for Tasks is "List options..."
4.5 - To create a new Calendar folder you must click on the + icon then
a pop-up window displays the with a form for the new Calendar.
4.6 - If you right-click on a Tasklist no context menu appears.

5) Settings
5.1 - In the settings page there are some inconsitancies in how the +
and sprocket icons are labeled but it seems more understandable there.
5.2 - The Address Book has an option "Default address book" at the top
of it's options page. For the Calendar it's labeled "Create new events
in" and is at the bottom of the page. There is no such setting for
Tasks.

**1, Beyond just the look this also effects how the Sprocket icon works
or does not work. Having the AddressBook, Calendar, and Tasks page
default to the Default folder would also be nice.

**2, This seems like a lot of work compared to creating a new Calendar,
Address Book, or Task.

**3, Since the title for Calendar is "Calendars", and Tasks is
"Tasklists" it seems maybe "Address Books" would be more appropriate for
Address Books.

Thanks for all your great work. Kolab 3.0 is an amazingly great
collection of software.
Bruce.
