This is something I'm confused about as well. Has support for the OpenPKG based Kolab server been dropped? Of course I'm aware that the intention is to move away from OpenPKG. Moving over to puppet as described in the installation docs is a wonderful thing - it was something I would have liked to see already during the time that I did work on the server.

But right now the move seems somewhat sudden - especially when I consider customer installations. I have already wondered about the lack of security updates on the current 2.3.4 OpenPKG variant. The website relaunch reinforces my impression that OpenPKG is indeed dead. But I currently don't see a path forward for the installations on the side of my customers.
