First sync the item gets transfered to the server, from second sync on Kontact
complains about event conflicts, eventually leading to a lot of "copy of"
events. it also prevents the whole sync from successful completion.
I ran a test with debug.txt, which resulted in a 69M file at the time of the
first conflict notification of Kontact.
Additionally i cant delete the entry on the phone. Deleting the entry in Horde
or Kontact leads to recreation when MfE starts another sync (even though the MfE
logs say Calendar sync failed).
To fix the mess i have to delete the MfE account, set up an empty kolab account
in MfE (to purge the Calendar), sync, remove that dummy account and finally set
up my account again.
Kolab version: 2.3.3 (openpkg)
Nokia E72/S60v3 FP version: 071.004
access-log + debug.txt: since these files contain private data (IMEI, folder
structure etc) i would prefer to submit them in a more restrictive way.
i know - the workaround would be to get a phone with a decent OS. any
suggestions for alternatives to the E71/E72?
there is a 3rd party tool "roadsync" which syncs successful even if after
creating calendar events on the phone. however, since that tool cant utilize the
connection groups of the E72 it is kind of useless for me (not to mention the
price...).
ps: i am not sure about the priority. for me it is critical, but ymmv. please
choose.
