[Kolab-devel] [issue4792] z-push: Contact details lost during sync

Hello,

I found a new problem with z-push sync: When I sync contacts (tried on kolab
2.3.3 and 2.3.4), sometimes some contact details get lost.
Candidates are all kinds of fax numbers (in particular, "Work fax" and "home
fax", which can be created in contact as user-defined number). Also very often
notes in contacts get lost.
This happens already during initial sync, when the contact is transferred to the
mobile for the first time: Afterwards, details are lost on both server and client!
If the synchronization user does not have write access to the server's contact
folder by imap permissions (i.e., by syncing a contact folder of a different
user with read-only access), the complete contact data is correctly transferred
to the client.

Furthermore, when setting 'KOLAB_SHAREDFOLDERS_RO' to "1" in z-push/config.php,
details on the server in a shared contact folder also get lost, if the user has
write access on this folder. There seems to be something wrong with permission
handling.

The client is a Nokia E52 with third-party sync client "RoadSync" (the
integrated client does not work well, see https://issues.kolab.org/issue4781).
