I suppose there's two scenarios under which this happens:

- a client is uploading a new version of <uid /> and forgets / is 
unable to delete the older version (connection broken, stupid client, 
whatever),

- more then one client is using the same account simultaneously.

Whichever case occurs is very hard to detect after the fact, naturally, 
but I recon the essence of the problem remains the same; conflicting 
edit detection and correction.
