Took me a while but I wanted to try this also. Setting

allowcrossdomainacls: 1

in

/kolab/etc/kolab/templates/imapd.conf.template

and running

kolabconf

afterwards worked fine. I was able to set the ACL and the folders  
became visible across the domains.
