Basing the Kolab Webclient on Horde was done because it was the strongest
Free Software Initiative in that area at that time. Meanwhile there are other
strong initiatives and the Horde initiative could do better at a few points.
From the perspective of Kolab users it is important to have the strongest Web
client that we can assemble with what the Kolab initiative car possilby
achieve given its power.

Yes, we as major part of the Kolab community
are fully committed to Free Software.
The community is our strength in my view.

True, this is Free Software.
Again I have a strong interest in the Kolab Community which I am a part of,
so we will not let the other community members down.

The question is: How do we provide a really cool web client in the mid term?
We can turn the current one into a cool one,
see if we adopt other code or write our own.

Best,
Bernhard
