[Kolab-devel] [issue4446] Kolab 2.2.4 would not bootstrap

As the folks over here are so keen on upgrading their live setups to Kolab
2.2.4, I tried building the release. It did build fine, but after bootstrap,
several flavors of weirdness emerged:

* The DocumentRoot of Apache was set to /kolab/share/apache/htdocs instead of
/kolab/var/kolab/www, so requesting //localhost/admin gave me a 404.
* The components (notably kolabconf) are unable to pull configuration data from
LDAP. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the DB seems to be empty
(accessing k=kolab yields "invalid DN" and slapcat gives no output).
* Looking at slapd.conf revealed that the suffix was set to
"dc=my-domain,dc=com", rather than what I entered at bootstrap. Fixing this did
not make things better, however.

Curiously enough, the 2.2.3 version set up just fine on the same machine. I
suspect kolab_bootstrap fails some cruciual step, yet produces no error message.

I tried putting it into a chroot environment as well as a non-chroot one an the
effects were the same.
