Tested with  Kontact e35 20100701.1145008-kk1

Test:
0.Switch to calendar.
1. Import->vcs.
2. Select a vcs file with about 1000 events.
3. Select merge into existing resource.
4. Select a resource.
=> This operation needs some time. 
I expect that the import dialog is closed and a progress bar is displayed
