Yes, it will be enough power. See the kde-maemo@ efforts and search for 
Windows CE and N900 on techbase.kde.org.

There will be a mobile phone capable gui design for Kontact soon
throughout the year, I will write more about this (hopefully) in the next 
days.

A funambol to Kolab Server connector is in the pipeline by an (to me) external 
party. I expect more news about it through Q1 2010.
