Yes, it is already covered there.
I already proposed the same solution back then but nobody took the effort of
actually integrating this option. No big coding is required because the
feature is already part of OpenLDAP since a while. It is mainly an integration
task so that it is setup with reasonable defaults, documented and
configurable.
