Test:
1. Switch to kmail.
2. D'n'D a mail to the desktop. Name: "test".
3. Close kontact.
4. Double click on the mail on the desktop.
Neither Kontact nor Kmail opens, the mail is not displayed.
Now it is not possible to start kontact again.
