On IMAP folders without "s" permission, the server prevents
changes to the Seen flags.

The disconnected imap resource should take this into account.
Instead it throws a missleading error message:

Expectation: The message should be helpful.
Expectation: The message should form a real sentence,
             which is not the case for the main error message sentence.
Both above are "prokde35" in my view.

Question (which might be enterprise35 only): 
On such a folder Seen flags probably should be maintained locally.
The question is: Should the user be informed about this somehow?
Ideally I would say: Yes, but it would need to be done in a way that
does not obstruct the daily usage experience. 
So a message that pops up every sync or start is unsuitable.
Suitable would be to have a popup message when the status changes from
  with "s" to without "s" and back
and a permanent display (maybe an icon added to the folder or something 
similiar).
