New submission from Troy Carpenter <troy at carpenter.cx>:

When reading some emails in Horde, php processes are generating segfaults. The
email message is not displayed. In Internet Explorer, an error message is
generated. In Firefox, the browser wants to download an empty php file.

The apache-errors.log file has these entries:

zend_mm_heap corrupted
[Thu Feb 28 16:39:32 2008] [notice] child pid 28528 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)
[Thu Feb 28 16:39:33 2008] [notice] child pid 28911 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)
[Thu Feb 28 16:39:34 2008] [notice] child pid 28849 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)
[Thu Feb 28 16:39:35 2008] [notice] child pid 28904 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)
[Thu Feb 28 16:39:36 2008] [notice] child pid 28965 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)
zend_mm_heap corrupted
[Thu Feb 28 16:39:37 2008] [notice] child pid 28944 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)

These all were generated while reading the attached email. The email was pulled
from the IMAP directory as is, without being modified.

There are no error messages in the php or Horde log files.

This error is on 2.2RC1 unmodified. It is a clean install from the openpkg
source, running on Ubuntu Gutsy 64bit Server standard install.
