with my (quite recent) horde/turba-cvs version, male and female
settings in the contacts tab behave differently:
o setting a person to female -> viewing the contact info shows female
o setting a person to male -> viewing the contact info shows "unspecified"
maybe i find some time to debug this down and add a ticket to the
horde bugtracker including a patch...
