You checked the right thing, calendars are detected using annotations.
Do you mean you don't see the events from those folders or doesn't
the calendar folder appear in Kronoliths shared calendar list?

After creating a folder in Outlook you have to subscribe it first in Kronolith
before Kronolith considers them at all. This is usually done with the
calendar box on the right. This could also be a (share) caching issue,
did you try to log out and log in again?
