Hi all
I documented the issue 1779 and set the issue in resolved state. I also
extended my documentation:
http://www.comcept.ch/kolab2/solaris_10_kolab2_install.txt
Kind regards

this looks very good! Congratulations!
(I did not check all the details of your configuration.
Please enter your results into the issue.)

I wonder why it did work in the past, though then.

Seems logical if unix/sockets does not work correctly.

Maybe open an issue with Sun? ;) (just kidding)
I do not know how to remedy this best,
we should take up a hint in the documentation somehow and best
would be if the openpkg building script would find the problem
and build a variant not using domain sockets.
I am no expert, but my guess is that sockets will be technically better
so it should be kept for operating systems where they work.
