Hi!

Another release note to all people interested in Horde:

There have been four new packages
(http://build.pardus.de/downloads/kolab-horde-tmp/) released today:

    * horde-framework-kolab-20070403
    * horde-mnemo-kolab-20070403
    * horde-nag-kolab-20070403
    * horde-turba-kolab-20070403

Thomas Jarosch (intra2net) finalized the Turba driver (Horde address
manager). The application should now be significantly more stable than
before and support the new caching framework.

The two applications "Nag" (Horde task manager) and "Mnemo" (Horde
note manager) have seen some minor bug fixes.

Please submit any bugs you find within these two apps in the main
Kolab bug tracker using the topic "horde".

Updated patches have alse been submitted upstream to the Horde project
for a first review:

http://bugs.horde.org/ticket/?id=5175

Some background on the current Horde development:

Horde has had unstable Kolab support for years. In order to fully
support Kolab there were several larger structural changes
necessary. These have now all been implemented and all that remains is
fixing each of the groupware applications (mnemo, nag, turba,
kronolith). The structural changes implemented were:

    * fixed support for groupware folders
    * fixed XML handling
    * additional caching so that you can have thousands of notes,
      addresses, tasks etc.

Only Kronolith (events) remains broken but will hopefully be fixed
soon.

Cheers,

Gunnar
