This is getting confusing. When using kmail on the same computer, in a vmware
instance the folders can be accessed. This seems to confirm that the ACLs, and
the annotations and mailbox db are okay. So it looks like a Thunderbird problem.
When I ask Thunderbird (TB) to look for folders to subscribe to, it does not the
shared folders. Thunderbird is aware of the share folders as can be seen from:

/Documents and Settings/rbos/Application Data/Thunderbird/Profiles/fpjwdjys.default
 look in: panacea.dat

    =C:\\Documents and Settings\\rbos\\Application Data\\Thunderbird\\Profiles\
 \\fpjwdjys.default\\ImapMail\\mail.domain.com\\shared.ham.msf)
  (757F=shared.ham)(7580

    =C:\\Documents and Settings\\rbos\\Application Data\\Thunderbird\\Profiles\
\\fpjwdjys.default\\ImapMail\\mail.domain.com\\shared.spam.msf)
  (7581=shared.spam)(7582

/Documents and Settings/rbos/Application Data/Thunderbird/Profiles/fpjwdjys.default/ImapMail/mail.domain.com
$ ls
INBOX  INBOX.msf  INBOX.sbd  msgFilterRules.dat

Does anybody know what to do with Thunderbird so it recognizes these shared folders
again, as it used to be? Should the account be deleted and created again e.g.?
