That is actually pretty complex and I would have to look into the code
again to give you a correct answer. A rough version: The
synchronization code needs a uniqe folder id independent of the folder
name and across user boundaries in order to link each imap folder with
the representation in the horde datatree model. The current share
model is based on the datatree and the new share driver would allow to
directly use the imap folders as basis.

Cool. It might not match the current release, though. I plan to move
to horde cvs next week and the patch will get updated then.
