[Kolab-devel] [issue1285] Can't add or modify address book entry if distribution list with same e-mail name exists

Kolab 2.0.3, web interface:

Case 1:
- Create a distribution list, e.g. "testlist"
- Add a new address book entry with an e-mail address "testlist at some.other.domain"
The creation of the address book entry fails with:
"User, vCard or distribution list with this email address already exists"

Case 2:
- Create an address book entry with an e-mail address e.g. "testlist2 at some.domain"
- Create a distribution list with the name "testlist2"
- Go back to the address book entry and try to modify is
The submission of the modified entry fails with:
"User, vCard or distribution list with this email address already exists"

Apparently, Kolab only checks the part before the "@" when checking for existing
items - this is unfortunate, as entries in the address book can of course have
the same e-mail name (i.e. part before "@") as existing distribution lists, but
with a different domain.
