[Kolab-devel] x86_64

Hello,

We are going to set up Kolab on new servers here, running 64 bit
distributions, I still have not been able to build Kolab (latest 2.1) for 64
bit. Some perl packages that contain x86 asm still configure themselves to
compile for x86, which generates errors.

Mind you, it all builds fine apparently but there are plenty of things missing
(mostly crypto for perl) and nothing works... Only a few packages are
affected.

Would it help if I filed a detailed report here?

People often say that it is useless to use 64bit sofware, from my experience
64bit with Linux feels much more reactive, mostly on servers. So I'd be
really pleased if Kolab built on 64bit by the time we deploy it here.

Is it a kolab issue or more an OpenPKG issue?
