Has Kolab considered participating Google Summer of
Code? In case you aren't familiar with it, the Summer
of Code program pays college students $4,500 to work
on their favorite open-source application over the
summer. The mentoring project (ie. Kolab) receives
$500 per student.
Google is now accepting applications by mentoring
organizations, who are invited to suggest ideas that
college students can start working on. More
information can be found at:
http://code.google.com/summerofcode.html
Last year, the top two projects sponsored by Google
were Apache and KDE, so I wouldn't be at all surprised
if Kolab will also do well.
Thanks,
-Mark
