[Kolab-devel] Is it correct to have 2 php lib directories

It seems that kolab uses 2 php lib directories:
/kolab/var/kolab/php
and
/kolab/lib/php

Of course it works (everyone using kolab knows that ;)  But is it desired?
Would it be a problem to install the files from /kolab/var/kolab/php 
in /kolab/lib/php?  Why not just install them there?

If this is possible, it would make the kolab porting a little easier...
