I've not had time to diagnose this, but I think it's a problem with the
Beta3 management interface code. If you crank up logging in the openldap
template, you should see errors similar to below:
(attempted to update a user record)

The horde.schema hasn't changed since beta2, and neither has
kolab.schema AFAICT, so there must be something up with the actual code
in the manager interface since everything looks kosher in Luma.
