By the virtue that the distribution list objects in LDAP dont have a mail   
attribute there is a problem when sending mails using client-side address   
books.   
   
One example, the Toltec Address Book, searches for a mail attribute (or   
another attribute) to send mails.   
   
Same applies to Thunderbird, Outlook, etc.   
   
There should be a mail attribute for all "mailable" objects to help   
addressbook clients find the correct info.
