[Kolab-devel] Differencies between "Distribution list" and"Alias" concept

Imho a suggestion would be to call them in the way they are used, such
as "groups" .
Kolab right now doesn't have the concept of group (other than the DL)
which imho should have to be implemented using the ldap approach using
"o" and "ou" .
Then using named groups for ACL of shared folerds while if a group needs
an email contact an email alias could be created.
"Group management" is imho something different than "Distribution List"
management which instead, at least in the way i ever used such word,
represent the concept of "email aliases" which can be one-to-one or
one-to-many.
I would propose to discuss about this behaviour for the future to be
able to reach an "enterprise grade" group management concept which
should be separated from the "Distribution list" concept that would
become simple email aliases.
What the opionion on those subject?
