Anyone using db4.3 by default at present has migrated prematurely IMHO
... Mandriva uses 4.2.52.4 (with patch for OpenLDAP 2.3, see below) by
default at present, although 4.3.27 is available (but nothing is built
against it).
AFAIK, most OpenLDAP developers haven't been happy with 4.3.27, 4.3.28
may be better, but none of the developers have yet noted that it is any
better. I haven't yet tried myself ...
BTW, what OpenLDAP version would be included? For 2.3.x, an additional
DB4.2 patch is recommended (available in build/ in current CVS).
