And this won't work, because as I already said, libkcal *can not* handle
two events with the same UID. And basic assumptions are always an amazing
amount of work to change.

If you copy an event to a folder that already has an event with the same
UID, you will get the conflict resolution. You have to. There is no way
to distinguish between conflicts and this use.
