CVS KDE client 20041130 (afternoon): 
 
have user1 and user2 that can write to the same calendar folder. 
Modify an event with both and then try to sync, 
correctly the conflict resolution dialog will pop up. 
Now choose an option and then go the the calendar view: 
 
The appointment is gone.  
Deselecting and reselecting the folder makes it appear 
again (probably restarting will also work), but this is suboptimal of 
course. ;)
