I put Steffen in the Nosy List for info. and in case it has something to do 
with the server (which I dont know) 
 
Scenario 
Create a group with 2 read only members ( user1 and user2 ) 
 
Open a dimap account for the group and sync to get the group calendar folder 
and resource together with user1 ( same station ) 
 
as user2 create an event with alarm and invite the group. 
 
edit the event with only the group resource enabled the alarm is not 
registered. 
as user1 enable only the (shared) group calendar resource: you can see that the 
alarm has not been passed together with the event.
