I have a hunch as to what may be causing this - I've just encountered a 
similar problem with a recent Horde CVS checkout.

From what I can see the problem of messed up base URL's for Horde is caused by 
the calculation of $webroot in horde/config/registry.php - it doesn't seem to 
like symlink'd directories. Previously Horde has just had its webroot set to 
'/horde', which works for Kolab if you have the horde directory (or a symlink 
to it) in /kolab/var/kolab/www, however with the new dynamic webroot setting 
it seems to be calculated as the destination of the horde symlink.

In my case $webroot was getting set to '/var/codefusion/projects/horde', as 
this is where my /kolab/var/kolab/www/horde symlink points to. Unfortunately 
I didn't have the time to properly go over this problem, however just setting 
$webroot to '/horde' fixed the problem for me.

Jan, is this an issue with the $webroot calculation in Horde, or are we just 
being stupid with this?
