OpenPKG uses automated version tracking of all vendor sources
which allow this (versioned tarballs). The scan happens bi-daily
and a digest of the results is sent to openpkg-dev at openpkg.org
where the "Package Master On Duty" (PMOD) or anyone in the
openpkg-team at openpkg.org picks them up and rolls new RPMs.
